Prospective Parent Events
These events are designed to further acquaint prospective parents with our program, our campus, and with some of the people who shape the life of our school. Oakwood administrators, faculty members, current parents and students will describe the school's program and answer questions.
Thursday, September 29, 6-9 pm (FULL)
Saturday, October 29, 9 am-12 pm (We also have a separate program for prospective incoming high school students running simultaneously)
We encourage you to select a date as soon as possible, as dates tend to fill quickly. Reservations are required for all events. You can sign up for events and receive more information about Oakwood by submitting an online inquiry.
Prospective Incoming 7th Grade Student Visiting Day
All prospective middle school students are invited to participate in mini classes with Oakwood teachers on Sunday, November 13, 1-4 pm. The Student Visiting Day is for incoming 7th grade students for Fall 2017 only.
Prospective Parent and Female Applicant Event
"Oakwood School and the 21st Century Girl"
This event is designed to acquaint prospective parents and their daughters with the Oakwood experience as it pertains to girls. What's it like being a girl at Oakwood? Attend this event and find out. Sign up for this event at the end of the application.

Understanding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Oakwood
This new event for prospective parents is designed to illustrate the specific ways in which Oakwood is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every member of our community is valued and feels a sense of belonging. Student and faculty leaders from the various affinity and mentorship groups will discuss their programs and offer insight into the ways students of color and same gendered families are supported at Oakwood.

Campus Visits and Interviews
Campus visits and interviews take place on a school day. Submit your application early to secure an interview date.
When your application is received, you will be notified of your campus visit and interview; earlier applicants have greater flexibility in scheduling interview appointments.
This family visit will include a campus tour as well as interviews with student and faculty members of the Admission Committee.
