Oakwood Sports
Oakwood provides athletic programs for both the gifted and developing athlete. Students learn the value of practice, the dynamics of teamwork and the joy of competition; they are encouraged to extend their limits and exceed even their own expectations. Although achievement is a major goal of our athletic program, our most important goal is for students to become better people in the pursuit of excellence. We believe in sportsmanship and we teach it -- we have earned the C.I.F. Sportsmanship Award for several consecutive years. Our students learn to lose with grace and win with humility.

Oakwood Cross Country Team "We Made History"
Oakwood's cross country teams, without exception, have excelled in recent years.

Girls went to the CIF playoffs
Boys are the undefeated league champions
Boys won the CIF prelims by defeating the 3 top-ranked teams in Southern California
