Posted 5/9/2013
Bringing a historic year to a blazing finish, the Middle School Debate Team swept all possible top awards at the Golden State Debate League (GSDL) Championship held at Oaks Christian last Saturday. 4th and 12th Graders Learning Together
Posted 1/30/2013
Fourth grade teachers have enlisted the help of Teddy’s senior AP Civics class to assist in teaching several of the content strands related to the topic of the fourth grade California history play which this year focuses on the 1885 Tape vs. Hurley California civil rights case.

Many of the seniors had participated in the fourth grade play when they were in the elementary school and were delighted to be part of this process.

Opening the Door Onto the World of Dance for HS Dancers
Posted 1/23/2013
The Dance Trip was a great success! Eleven high school dance students participated in master classes at Scripps College, Cal State Long Beach, and the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. They attended a Michael Jackson tribute show and a dance performance entitled "Shen Yun," which brought to life 5,000 years of Chinese civilization through classical Chinese dance and music.

In addition, students were given a ballet workshop by the 82-year-old grandmother of our own Nick S. '14 who inspired (and challenged) everyone with her amazing class. Lead by Dance Program Director, Arianne MacBean and Dance Teacher, Angelina Attwell, the trip opened the door onto the world of dance a little wider for everyone who attended.
