Students on both campus hold a real stake in their school. From kinders to seniors, all students are involved in and take ownership in this place. 

Oakwood students have mutually respectful, close and long-lasting relationships with their teachers.  The collaborative environment in our classrooms fosters lively exchange and meaningful discussion. It is a long-standing Oakwood tradition that students call their teachers by their first names.

At the elementary school campus, a group of students with representatives from each grade along with a teacher form "families" that serve to support connection and create community. Student clubs and organizations on both campuses are often self-generated and sustained.  More information about secondary school clubs and organizations.
