| | Senior wins National Gold Medal Scholastic Art Award

Advancing from regional competition, Mason Shefa '11 has won the prestigious National Gold Medal Scholastic Art Award. Mason’s senior art portfolio was one of fifteen selected out of over 185,000 submissions(!). He will be travelling to the awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall in May where he will received his award and a generous cash prize. His art portfolio consists of eight poetic films that is a wonderful example of a student using the medium of film as a fine art form.
