Computer Science Computer Science 100
The core program is a project-oriented curri-
culum that is closely integrated into seventh grade courses. Productivity and multimedia packages are used to organize and present ideas in a concise and proper fashion.
Computer Science 200
Eighth graders are offered an array of courses meant to complement their computer knowledge and further stimulate interest in technology and computers. Each module focuses on a particular area and uses projects for a more in-depth exploration. (One semester)
Human Development Discussing issues including friendship, family relationships and the effects of drugs. (One semester) Understanding the developmental changes that occur during puberty, including physical, psychological and emotional matters. Becoming familiar with various methods of contraception and protecting oneself from sexually transmitted diseases. (One semester)
