Oakwood School Annual Fund Campaign
What does Annual Fund do?
The annual fund allows Oakwood to make up the difference between what it collects in tuition and what it actually spends each year to provide the highest possible quality education. The annual fund is in essence the checking account from which we pay for our daily operating expenses.
Just as Oakwood appreciates the unique talents and skills of every student, we also appreciate every gift, regardless of size. Your gift, in any amount, honors what you value most about your child's experience at the school. In addition, many companies have matching gift programs that allow you to double or triple your gift. Please call the development office (Julie Sperling 818-752-4407) to find out if your company matches gifts.
The Annual Fund:
- supports ongoing professional education for our teachers and staff;
- helps maintain an exceptionally nurturing environment for our children through small class size and rich curriculum; and
- provides financial aid for families who need tuition assistance.
What's the Phonathon?
A group of dedicated volunteers, with telephone receivers all but welded to their ears, get together and make personal calls to all our constituents. Callers call their own grade and also follow up on pledges.
Contributions:
- are tax-deductible.
- corporations and foundations often look to the number of donors in choosing the level at which they will support Oakwood
- your gift can actually help us get additional gifts.
Your past generosity is exemplary! Your continued support is essential! Please make a commitment to Oakwood so that we may continue to give our children a truly remarkable education.
