Immersion Financial Support

How Oakwood Can Help

The Immersion Program offers some courses that involve additional travel costs. For those courses, the school will require a payment over and above the Immersion fee that was included in this year’s enrollment contract. 

To assist families who are able to demonstrate the need for financial assistance, a limited amount of support is available. The online Financial Assistance Application should be fully completed and a signed copy of your current individual federal income tax return is needed. Families who have already provided their current tax returns for financial support from Oakwood need submit only the online Financial Assistance Application.

For trips costing $3,000 or more, the maximum financial assistance will be two-thirds of the course fee.

For trips or courses costing less than $3,000, maximum financial assistance will be one-half of the total trip/course fee.

Priority will be given to students who have not previously taken additional cost courses. No financial support is available for any other trip costs, including incidentals, spending money, passport costs, or the like. Please refer to the Immersion Program catalog for course and trip information and fees.
