Understanding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Oakwood

This event for applicant families is designed to illustrate the specific ways in which Oakwood is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every member of our community is valued and feels a sense of belonging. Our K-12 Director and Associate Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, along with other elementary campus administrators and teachers will discuss curriculum and demonstrate student experiences in the classroom. Parent ambassadors will share insights, as well.

These 40-minute student information sessions are designed to provide prospective students with an overview of the many opportunities available at Oakwood. This presentation will include an overview of programs and a Q & A portion. We ask that your child be a current 6th-11th grade student planning to apply for the 2021-2022 school year. UNDERSTANDING DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION AT OAKWOOD

Hey students! Put on your pajamas and join current Oakwood students for an informal chat about what it’s really like to be an Oakwood student! This event is designed to acquaint prospective parents and their daughters with the Oakwood experience as it pertains to self-identifying girls. APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ORDER TO ATTEND.

VIRTUAL SECONDARY CAMPUS VISITS & INTERVIEWS

Campus visits and interviews take place during the school day. Submit your application early to secure an interview date. 

When your application is received, our office will notify you of your virtual interview date within two weeks. Earlier applicants have greater flexibility in scheduling interview appointments.

This family visit will include a virtual campus tour as well as interviews with student and faculty members of the Admission Committee.
