Social Studies

From Past
to Future

Our rich social studies curriculum is designed to develop children's understanding of themselves as individuals, as members of various groups within society, and as members of a global community.

Students immerse themselves in the study of early humans, the westward movement, native Americans, medieval life, ancient Greece and other civilizations and cultures. Each grade shares its knowledge in lively presentations to parents and the rest of the student body.

Through this curriculum, children develop an appreciation for diversity, which enables them to acquire the cultural fluency necessary for successfully engaging with the larger world.

Children move toward an understanding of society’s interdependence and implications for the present and the future
