  • Prospective Family Open House | 11.4.23

    Join us on campus to connect with Secondary Campus Department Chairs. You and your child will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, engage with faculty and current students, and participate in a club fair. Due to space limitations, this event is reserved for 7-12 grade families applying/inquiring for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • Belonging at Oakwood | 12.5.23

    This event for prospective parents/guardians is designed to illustrate how Oakwood is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every member of our community is valued and feels a sense of belonging. Student and faculty leaders from the various affinity and mentorship groups will discuss their programs and offer insight into the ways students of color and same-gendered families are supported at Oakwood.

  • Coffee with the Athletic Director

    Think you know all about Oakwood Athletics? Think again. Join the Athletic Director and WNBA Coach, Steve Smith, to learn more about Oakwood and our robust Athletics program! The morning will provide an overview of our philosophy, our K-12 athletic programs, and the opportunity to chat with coaches and current secondary students.

  • Secondary Campus Visit & Student Interview

    Submit your application early to secure an interview date and campus tour. Once your application is received and processed, you may self-select a campus tour and interview date. Campus tours and interviews are held during the school day. Zoom interviews are available upon request.

    The secondary campus is located at 11600 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601.

  • Spring K-1 Prospective Parent/Guardian Tour

    Prospective Parent/Guardian Tours are for parents & guardians who wish to learn more about Oakwood's elementary campus. Applications need not be submitted to attend.

    Note: Each event is grade-specific. Be sure to select the appropriate event.

  • Oakwood Connections: Live Q & A Series (Virtual)

    Join Jenna Frost, Director of Enrollment, and special guests for an evening of connection and conversation at Oakwood Connections—our live virtual Q&A series for prospective parent(s)/guardian(s).
     
    Each session offers an opportunity to meet Oakwood teachers and staff, ask questions, and learn more about our admission process, financial assistance, athletics, and life at Oakwood—including select sessions offered in Spanish.

    It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to experience the heart of our community—all from the comfort of your home.

    Join us on campus for an engaging glimpse into life at Oakwood's Secondary Campus. You and your child will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, connect with faculty and students, and explore our the school community through interactive experiences.

  • 5th & 6th Grade Virtual Prospective Student Information Session

    Our 45-minute student information sessions are designed to provide prospective students with an overview of the many opportunities available at Oakwood. This presentation will include an overview of programs and a Q & A portion. We ask that your child be a current 4th-5th grade student planning to apply for the 2026-2027 school year. The Zoom link will be sent the day before the event. Student-only event.

  • K & 6 Secondary Campus Information Session

    Join members of the Secondary Campus Admission Team for an overview of the programs and opportunities available for students in grades 7-12. Whether you are considering 6th grade or even Kindergarten, we recommend attending this event for a more in depth look at the benefits of Oakwood’s K-12 structure. The morning will conclude with a panel of current students who matriculated from the elementary campus.

  • 6th Grade Applicant PJ Q&A with Current Students

    Hey applicant students! Put on your pajamas and join current Oakwood students for trivia and an informal chat about what it’s really like to be an Oakwood student! You bring your questions and we will provide treats and hot cocoa. Students will cover everything from lockers to language arts to lunch. Can't wait to see you there! Middle School Student-only event.

    Please join us for an evening of light bites and dialogue with current Jewish parents/guardians and parents and guardians with Jewish children. This event is open to parents/guardians who identify as Jewish or parents/guardians with Jewish-identifying children.

    Please join us for an evening of light bites and dialogue with current Latinx parents/guardians and parents and guardians with Latinx children. This event is open to parents/guardians who identify as Latinx or parents/guardians with Latinx-identifying children.

    Please join us for an evening of light bites and dialogue with current Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian (APISA+) parents/guardians and parents and guardians with Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian (APISA+) children. This event is open to parents/guardians who identify as Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian (APISA+) or parents/guardians with Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian (APISA+) identifying children.
