Supplemental Forms

We prefer supplemental forms to be updated through the prospective family portal in Oakwood Connected. However, the supplemental forms are also listed below for reference.

Please contact the Elementary Admissions or Secondary Admissions offices with questions.

Elementary Campus (Grades K-6)

Recommendations and school records must be received by Friday, January 10, 2025.

Secondary Campus (Grades 7-12)

We require transcripts and confidential teacher recommendations from the student's current English and Math instructors, and a School Administrator who is familiar with the student. If a student has one teacher for math and english, the second recommendation may be submitted by an academic teacher who has taught the student during the past two years.

School Records include the student's current first semester grades, and grades from the preceding two academic years.

Recommendations and school records must be received by Friday, January 10, 2025.

All secondary campus applicants are also asked to complete a student statement on the application. This writing sample will not be graded, it is nonetheless an important opportunity for students to showcase their written communication skills and their perspective on the topic.

Please note: To support an equitable admission process, Oakwood School will not require the ISEE. Instead, all secondary campus applicants will be given a writing prompt in the student section on our application. Additionally, when evaluating admission decisions, the committee will rely on transcripts, recommendations, and interviews.

  • International Students

Oakwood School warmly welcomes families moving to the Los Angeles area. We are delighted to inform you that we offer the I-20 form to international students. As a day school, we do not provide boarding or homestay options, so we require all students to reside with their legal parent(s) or guardian(s) while enrolled.

Our admissions process for international families is designed to be as straightforward as it is for local families. To ensure you receive the best support, please reach out to our admissions office before scheduling your interview. We’re here to assist you at every stage!

Testing: For students coming from non-English-speaking countries, we require the TOEFL I.B.T. with a minimum score of 100. Students applying for grades 7 and 8 should take the TOEFL Jr., while those applying for grades 9-12 should take the TOEFL I.B.T. Please ensure your scores are submitted by January 16, 2026. We look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you to the Oakwood family!
