Christie GuevaraIt's been a busy school year so far and I've been hitting the road visiting alumni around the country. It was great seeing alumni in Portland, Boston, and New York. My next stops will be in D.C., San Francisco, and Seattle so stay tuned for details and be sure to send us your updated contact information to make sure you receive the invites.

We are gearing up for Alumni Reunion on Saturday, April 13 and the Special Event: Dear Jim honoring Jim Astman on Saturday, May 18. We look forward to welcoming back alumni to campus and seeing everyone together to celebrate our beloved headmaster.

ALUMNI COUNCIL & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Oakwood Alumni Council is the cornerstone of our volunteer leadership and provides opportunities to get involved with our Annual Giving and/or Events Committees. This volunteer committee meets on campus approximately every other month to plan and implement Alumni related initiatives, activities, and events.

We are always looking for alumni who are available to volunteer on an ad hoc basis for fun events. Contact Christie Guevara for more information.

Alumni Book Group

If you love reading and enjoy connecting with the Oakwood Alumni community for spirited and thought-provoking conversations, the Alumni Book Group is the place for you! Parents and grandparents of alumni are also always welcome to join us! We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM in the Advancement Office Conference Room.
