Just as Oakwood owes its creation in 1951 to a group of committed parents, the school still relies on the dedication of parents to sustain and enhance the school. Parent involvement is an integral part of Oakwood’s success, both through the events and activities parents support and through the funds you help to raise. No matter what your schedule or skill set, there's a place to get involved!

Every parent at Oakwood is a member of our Parent Organization. The Parent Organization works as a vital partner with the school to disseminate information, provide outreach to families, and sponsor a wide variety of social and educational programs. Some examples of Parent Organization programs are: new family liaison program, the Oakwood Fair, Bookwood, the student store, community service, parent education, and the hot lunch programs at each campus. Here is a list of Parent Org leaders, committee chairs, and room parents (log in required). Or, please email the Parent Organization directly with any general questions.
